This service is for new members only, please do not fill in this form if you already have a library membership card.

Anyone who lives, works or studies in West Sussex is welcome to join the library. There is no charge to join.

There are no age limits. Parents may register new born babies. Everyone can join on line but if you are under 14 then we need the name and address of a parent, guardian or carer.

Once you are a member you can borrow and return your items to any West Sussex Library.

To join on line, key in your details following the instructions on screen. You will need to chose a West Sussex library as a home base so that we can register your details. Once you have joined you will be given your borrower number and PIN (Personal Identification Number). You can use these straight away to reserve titles from our catalogue. However you will not be able to borrow items from the library until you have provided proof of name and address at your designated library. "Suitable items might include a driving licence, utility bill or benefit book". This can be done at any time. Your library membership card will be kept at this library until proof of name and address have been provided.
